121st EAAE Seminar/IAAE Symposium "Assessing the Medium- to Long-term Impacts of Global Financial Crises on Agro-Food Sector and Rural Economies"

The Seminar aims to bringing together economists, modelers, and policy analyst in order to explore the adverse effects experienced by the agro-food sector and rural economics during and and after the recent finacial crisis, to measure and evaluate the depth of the demage in the affacted areas to develop and discuss solutions and to derive recommendations for the future to more easilty cope with an other severe crisis.

Economics, Management and Social Sciences: Their Application in Rural Development

This summer school is an international cooperation within the scope of the European League of Life Sciences and is organised by faculties and departments that focus on economics, management and social sciences from BOKU Vienna, CULS Prague, SGGW Warsaw and Wageningen University in cooperation with the University of Hohenheim, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and the University of Copenhagen.
